Turkey and Crunchy Veggie Wraps

Ingredients
  

For the Wraps
  • 2 whole wheat tortillas
  • 4 slices deli turkey breast
  • 2 tablespoons hummus
For the Veggies
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced cucumber
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup spinach leaves

  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Lay out the whole wheat tortillas on a clean surface.
  2. Spread 2 tablespoons of hummus evenly over each tortilla.
  3. Layer 2 slices of deli turkey breast onto one half of each tortilla.
  4. Top the turkey with shredded carrots, sliced cucumber, sliced red bell pepper, and spinach leaves.
  5. Fold the tortillas in half, then roll them up tightly to create the wraps.
  6. Slice the wraps in half if desired before serving.

Notes

You can add other vegetables like shredded lettuce, chopped celery, or avocado slices. For a different flavor, try using a different spread like cream cheese or a light vinaigrette.
