Steak Kabobs with Peppers and Onions

These steak kabobs are a simple and flavorful grilling recipe. They feature tender steak cubes marinated and skewered with colorful bell peppers and sweet onions.

Ingredients
  

For the Kabobs
  • 1.5 lbs Beef sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 large Red bell pepper cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 large Green bell pepper cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 large Yellow onion cut into 1-inch pieces
For the Marinade
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 Garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt for the marinade.
  2. Add the cubed steak, bell peppers, and onion to the marinade. Toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated steak and vegetables onto skewers, alternating ingredients.
  5. Grill the kabobs for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness and the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can add other vegetables like cherry tomatoes or zucchini to the skewers. Ensure wooden skewers are soaked in water for at least 30 minutes before use to prevent burning.
