Simple Watermelon Sorbet

This recipe makes a refreshing watermelon sorbet with just a few ingredients. It's a perfect treat for a hot day.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and frozen
  • 1/4 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup optional, adjust to taste

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Freezer-safe container

Method
 

  1. Combine the frozen watermelon cubes, lime juice, and optional sweetener in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides a few times.
  3. Transfer the sorbet to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 1-2 hours, or until firm.
  4. Serve scoops of the sorbet directly from the freezer.

Notes

For a softer sorbet, you can serve it immediately after blending. If you prefer a firmer texture, allow it to freeze for a longer period.
