Ingredients
  

For the Drumsticks
  • 12 Chicken drumsticks
For the Marinade
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the drumsticks from the marinade, letting any excess drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
  5. Place the drumsticks on the preheated grill. Grill for about 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally with tongs, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  6. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can baste the drumsticks with a little extra marinade during the last 10 minutes of grilling. Ensure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
