High Protein Pepperoni Pizza Rolls

Ingredients

  • Sauce of Choice (optional)
  • Spray Oil for cooking

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, combine the onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and dried oregano.
  2. Heat a pan over medium-high heat and spray with oil. Add the beef mince and cook for 5 minutes, or until no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the chopped pepperoni, and the herb and spice mixture to the pan. Cook for 2 minutes, or until the pepperoni is slightly golden.
  4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and optional flat leaf parsley. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the mixture is thick and reduced. Remove from heat.
  5. Spread the beef and pepperoni mixture evenly over the six wraps. Top with grated mozzarella cheese and optional sauce.
  6. Roll up the wraps tightly. Place them on a baking tray or in an air fryer. Spray with oil and sprinkle with optional flat-leaf parsley.
  7. If using an oven, preheat to 200°C (400°F) and toast for 8-10 minutes. If using an air fryer, set to 180°C (350°F) and cook for 8-10 minutes.
  8. Let the rolls cool slightly before storing them in foil, food-safe paper, or airtight containers.
