  • 1/4 cup blue candy melts
  • 1/4 cup red candy melts
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil divided
  • 1 tablespoon star sprinkles

  4. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan using a buttered spatula or wax paper.
  5. In separate microwave-safe bowls, melt the white chocolate chips and the blue and red candy melts according to package directions. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon of vegetable oil into each melted candy to make it smoother.
  6. Drizzle the melted white chocolate, blue candy melts, and red candy melts over the Rice Krispie treats in a random pattern to resemble fireworks.
  7. Immediately sprinkle with star sprinkles before the candy sets.
  8. Let the treats cool completely until the candy coating is firm. Cut into squares.

Notes

For best results, work quickly when pressing the mixture into the pan and decorating. You can also use food coloring to tint the melted white chocolate for more color options.
