Method
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the white chocolate chips and vegetable shortening (if using) in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth.
- Dip each pretzel twist halfway into the melted white chocolate, letting any excess drip off.
- Place the dipped pretzels on the prepared baking sheet.
- Immediately sprinkle the red and blue sprinkles over the wet chocolate before it sets.
- Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.
- Once set, your festive pretzel treats are ready to serve.
