Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ravioli according to package directions, but undercook by 1-2 minutes. Drain well.
- In a large bowl, combine the drained ravioli, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Stir gently to coat the ravioli evenly.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can add cooked ground beef or Italian sausage to the sauce mixture. You can also add a layer of ricotta cheese mixed with an egg and seasonings before topping with mozzarella.
