- Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 30 minutes. This prevents it from burning on the grill.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush them with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine the chopped dill, parsley, chives, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Mix well.
- Place the salmon fillets, skin-side down, on the soaked cedar plank.
- Spoon the herb mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
- Carefully place the cedar plank with the salmon onto the preheated grill.
- Close the grill lid and cook for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the fillets and your grill's temperature.
- Remove the cedar plank from the grill and let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
You can adjust the herbs to your preference. Other good options include thyme, rosemary, or basil.
