Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts Chicken breasts
For the BBQ Pineapple Glaze
  • 1 cup Crushed pineapple undrained
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Basting brush
  • Small saucepan

Method
 

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine crushed pineapple, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves and the glaze thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Lightly oil the grill grates. Place chicken breasts on the preheated grill.
  4. Grill chicken for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until almost cooked through.
  5. During the last 5 minutes of grilling, generously brush the chicken with the BBQ pineapple glaze. Continue to grill, turning once, until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze is caramelized.
  6. Remove chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
