Ingredients

For the Donut Holes
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough such as Pillsbury Grands
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
For the Glaze
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk
  • Spatula
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper

Method

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Cut each biscuit into four equal pieces.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside.
  4. Place the biscuit pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd. You may need to cook in batches.
  5. Air fry for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. While the donut holes are cooking, prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  7. Once cooked, carefully remove the donut holes from the air fryer and let them cool slightly on the prepared baking sheet for about 5 minutes.
  8. While still warm, toss the donut holes in the cinnamon sugar mixture until evenly coated. Alternatively, you can drizzle them with the prepared glaze.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can use a cream cheese-based glaze. Ensure your air fryer is preheated for even cooking.
